Wedding Favours Baked In Cheltenham
Wedding favours have a long history in England, dating back to at least the 16th Century. The giving of a small gift to wedding guests was said to bring good luck and in the earliest days love knots of ribbon and lace would be given to represent the bride and groom's bond of love. By the 17th Century, wedding favours became more extravagant and saw confectionery being given to the guests. Confectionery was then a luxury good due to the price of sugar. As sugar became more readily available to everybody, confectionery and cakes became a standard wedding favour gift.
I like to continue in this tradition and supply couples with delicious and beautiful wedding favours themed to their big day. My wedding favours range from cupcakes to biscuits and anything which can be baked.
The giving of wedding favours to your guests is a way of showing your appreciation of their support and friendship on your wedding day. Wedding favours can be elaborate or simple, perfectly suited to your style and personalities.

Wedding Favours By Sugar Bowl Bakes of Cheltenham
Wedding favours are a delight to make, as they will be given to your special friends and family as a thank you gift for their friendship and for supporting you through the years. I have baked wedding favours for many weddings over the years and have been asked to create many different styles of wedding favours. Some wedding favours have been formal and traditional in style, whilst others have been rustic in style to suit weddings in barns and informal venues. Whatever the style of wedding favour you want to have, just let me know and we will discuss your wishes and make them come true!
The pictures below will give you a small sample of some of the wedding favours I have made for my wedding clients.
