**Cupcake Party T&Cs
These Terms and Conditions apply to all cupcake parties hosted by Sugar Bowl Bakes. By booking a cupcake party and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Booking and Payment
A full payment for the cupcake party is required before the event takes place. Payment details will be provided on your invoice. The booking will be confirmed once the payment has been received. The final payment must be made by the agreed date, as specified during booking. No party will be attended until full payment is received. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the cupcake party booking. This deposit is part of your total party fee and will not be refunded under any circumstances, including cancellations.
Final Numbers, Ages, and Themes
Final numbers of attendees, ages, and the theme for the party must be provided to Sugar Bowl Bakes at least one week before the event. Changes to numbers, ages, or themes after this deadline may not be accommodated.
Party Setup and Requirements
Every child participating in the cupcake party must have their own chair and table setting to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. This includes one seat for each child as well as a setting for the instructor (Sugar Bowl Bakes). Please ensure that there is a space large enough for each child to work comfortably.
Safety and Supervision
During the cupcake decorating session, children will be provided with tools that may include small kitchen knives, craft knives, and other utensils to assist with decorating. Sugar Bowl Bakes takes no responsibility for any injuries resulting from improper use of these tools. It is your responsibility to ensure that the children use the tools safely and as instructed. It is advised that extra parents or guardians be on hand to supervise if you feel that the children may not be capable of using small knives or tools safely. Alternatively, please inform Sugar Bowl Bakes before the event so that alternative designs can be arranged that do not require the use of such tools.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel the cupcake party, please notify Sugar Bowl Bakes at least two weeks before the event. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations or rescheduling of the event. If the party needs to be rescheduled, we will do our best to accommodate, but rescheduling is subject to availability, and the new date will require full payment.
Liability and Insurance
Sugar Bowl Bakes takes no responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss that may occur during the cupcake party, including any accidents involving tools, equipment, or materials provided. You agree to ensure that there is adequate adult supervision for the children during the party.
Photography and Marketing
By booking a cupcake party, you give Sugar Bowl Bakes permission to take photographs or videos during the event for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media, portfolio, or website use. If you do not wish to have your child’s image used, please inform Sugar Bowl Bakes prior to the event.
Event Duration and Delays
The cupcake party is typically scheduled to last for two hours. Please ensure that you are ready for the party to begin at the agreed time. If there are any delays, the event may be shortened or adjusted, and additional charges may apply for extended time.

**Private Lessons T&Cs
These Terms and Conditions apply to all private lessons held at Sugar Bowl Bakes. By booking a private lesson, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Booking and Payment
Full payment for the private lesson is required at the time of booking (unless otherwise agreed at time of booking) to confirm your spot. The lesson will be confirmed once payment is received. Payment for the lesson is non-refundable and non-transferable, except as specified in Cancellations. If the payment is not received by the specified date, the booking will be cancelled, and the time slot will be made available to other clients.
Lesson Details and Duration
All private lessons are tailored to the client’s specific needs, and the content of the lesson will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Please ensure you are on time for your lesson. If you are late, the lesson may be shortened, and no refund will be provided for lost time. Any changes to the lesson content or schedule must be discussed and confirmed with Sugar Bowl Bakes at least 48 hours prior to the lesson.
Safety and Supervision
Sugar Bowl Bakes provides all necessary tools and equipment for the lesson. You are expected to use the equipment provided in a safe and responsible manner. Sugar Bowl Bakes takes no responsibility for any injuries that occur due to improper use of tools, equipment, or materials. If the lesson involves using sharp tools, including knives or other cutting equipment, you must follow the instructor’s guidance at all times. If you are unsure about any tool or technique, please ask for clarification. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the lesson, unless otherwise agreed to by Sugar Bowl Bakes.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your private lesson, please contact Sugar Bowl Bakes at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson will not be refunded or rescheduled, and the full lesson fee will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule and I am unable to accommodate a new date or time, the deposit will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. If I am able to reschedule your lesson, this will be subject to availability, and any rescheduling may incur an additional charge.
Changes to Lesson Content
The content of the lesson must be agreed upon in advance. However, if you wish to change the focus or content of your lesson after booking, please contact Sugar Bowl Bakes at least 48 hours prior to the lesson. While we will do our best to accommodate any changes, this may incur an additional charge depending on the nature of the adjustments.
Liability and Insurance
Sugar Bowl Bakes is not liable for any damage to personal property, injuries, or accidents that occur during the private lesson. It is your responsibility to ensure that you follow all safety instructions and use the tools and equipment in the correct manner. Sugar Bowl Bakes reserves the right to refuse service or cancel the lesson if the instructor feels the client is not using the equipment safely.
Photography and Marketing
By attending a private lesson at Sugar Bowl Bakes, you agree to allow Sugar Bowl Bakes to take photographs or videos for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on social media, websites, and promotional materials. If you do not wish to have your image used, please inform the instructor before the start of the lesson.
Payment and Final Confirmation
Your lesson will be fully confirmed once payment is received. Final balances are to be paid prior to the lesson or on the day, if previously agreed with Sugar Bowl Bakes.
