The process  of ordering your wedding cake

I advise that you book your wedding cake as soon as possible, for the more popular dates I'd recommend at least 12 to 18 months before your big day. Don't worry if you have left it a little late, let me know your wedding date and I will check my availability for you.

On initial contact via email, social media or phone please provide the following information so I can give you a guide price for your wedding cake:

Date of wedding
Venue
How many guests you want the cake to serve
Plus any images, mood boards and ideas for your cake

Once a quote has been given and you are happy to proceed, a 'Save the Date' booking fee of £100 will be required.  This is a non-refundable booking retainer which ensures your date is booked into my diary.

All cakes are handmade using the highest quality ingredients.  Decorations are all handmade unless stated.  The price quoted will reflect the size and complexity of the proposed design.

I've secured my date, what happens now?

If you are ordering a fully decorated cake with a value of £400 or more you will be invited for a design consultation.  You will be welcomed into my cake studio, at my home in Cheltenham to enjoy a selection of tasters for the Bride & Groom.  Should you wish to bring family or friends with you please let me know in advance.

For those couples ordering rustic naked/ semi naked cake with a value of £350 you will receive a taster box which can be collected (or posted for a small charge)

Can I sample the cakes before I pay a deposit?
Should you wish to meet me before paying your 'Save the Date' deposit you are welcome to book a consultation appointment, these are charged at £30 which can be redeemed from your order of £400 or more when the 'Save the Date' deposit is paid within 7 days of the consultation.

Don't need a consultation but want to sample my cakes before you commit, that's ok too. Simply order a taster box, the cost of which can be redeemed when a deposit is paid within 7 days and you don't feel you need a further consultation (see price guide for more details)

What will I get in my Taster box?

You will received a selection of samples, these are what I like to call

'bakers choice' so you get a lovely surprise on the day.

My Wedding is almost here, what do I do next?

8 weeks prior to your wedding, flavour choices will need to be confirmed and an invoice for your final balance will be sent.  All balances must be paid 8 weeks prior to your wedding. Any changes needing to be made should be made clear at this stage.

Before I begin baking your cake I will get in touch one last time to talk through all the details stated on your paperwork to ensure everything is 100% correct.

*Please note that your date will not be secured in my diary until a 'Save the Date' retainer is paid. This still remains the case even if you have booked a consultation or tasting box and are awaiting this service.  Should your date become fully booked and you haven't yet received your consultation or taster box a refund will be issued. If however you have received your consultation or tasting box, no refund for these services will be given.
